NSRF 2021-2027, Pre-Publication of Action: Grant of up to €130,000 for Small and Medium Enterprises – How to Prepare
Entrepreneurship in Greece is changing rapidly, with businesses being called upon to adapt to the modern demands of digital transformation, sustainability and extroversion.
In this context, the new action “Small and Medium Enterprise Adaptation Plans” comes to support small and medium enterprises with a capacity of 20-50 employees, providing a grant from €25,000 to €130,000.
The program aims to strengthen businesses through:
• Organizational modernization and development of new skills for staff.
• Green transition and sustainable development.
• Digital transformation to increase productivity.
• Improving extroversion and competitiveness at national and international level.
• More efficient supply chain management.
The program is expected to be announced soon and applications will be submitted electronically through the Integrated State Aid Information System (IPSKE).
Who can join the program?
The program is aimed at existing small and medium-sized enterprises that meet the following conditions:
✅ Have at least 20 Annual Work Units (AWU) in 2023.
✅ Have at least two (2) full administrative years prior to the date of application submission.
✅ Be active in eligible KADs, that is, do not have a main KAD that is excluded from the action.
✅ They must be legally operating businesses with a corporate or commercial form.
✅ Meet the conditions of the De Minimis Regulation (EU 2023/2831).
What does the grant include – Eligible Expenses
The program finances a wide range of expenses aimed at improving business operations and competitiveness:
🔹 Consulting Services – Business strategy, needs assessment and development of organizational structures.
🔹 Employee Training and Education – Education in new technologies, development of soft skills, specialization in green practices.
🔹 Skills Certification – Obtaining recognized certificates to improve human resources.
🔹 Staff Recruitment – Financing of salary costs for new hires.
🔹 Process Optimization & Digital Modernization – Investments in automation systems, CRM and management software.
🔹 Supply Chain Management & Export Activity – Strategies for expanding into new markets and developing distribution networks.
⚠️ Important: The cost of managing business plans is not compensated within the framework of the action.
How will applications be submitted?
Applications will be submitted electronically through the OPSKE, without the need for a physical file of supporting documents. The submission period will be defined in the Detailed Call for Applications and will include:
📍 Selection of actions that the business plan will include.
📍 Determination of the thematic training areas and the number of participants.
📍 Submission of the required supporting documents via the electronic platform.
📍 Evaluation through the Direct Evaluation process, with scoring criteria that will be determined in the invitation.
Businesses that will be approved will have to implement their business plan in a specific Region and complete the project within the specified timeframe.
